An Obituaries list may contain names of person who have already died or even premature obituaries of persons who are still alive. On October 12, 2006 at Florida, Nancy Allen, the famous actress of the movie Robocop was reported to have died because of cerebral hemorrhage. Another record of premature obituary that was recorded in the list is the death of Daphne Banks residing in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. She was declared dead on the New Year’s day of the year 1996. The reason for this is that a doctor had declared her dead while she lay in the hospital not breathing anymore. In a few hours, an undertaker had noticed that her vein twitches in her leg that was followed by snoring and breathing. Thereinafter, she recovered in the hospital.
Another case included in the premature obituaries list is the death of Luca Barbareschi, one of the actors in the 1980 horror film of Cannibal Holocaust. The report of his death originated from an Italian police who believed that he was murdered while doing the film. However, it seems that the report became realistic when the director of the movie, Ruggero Deodato was arrested due to murder case. Included in the premature obituaries list was Pope Benedict XV who was reportedly dead because of pneumonia in January 1922. The news had shocked the world as it was published by a New York newspaper as a front page headline. However, after the January 22 incident of premature obituary, the Pope had died few days later. Included in the premature obituary list was the reportedly shot in the head death of James Brady, the White House Press Secretary in 1981. The death was a result of an assassination attempt on President Reagan during that time. Another case of premature obituary is the death of Rodger Bumpass, a voice actor in August 2006. A report was release that the actor died during a heart transplant surgery. The reports was announced a newsletter of Arkansas State University, the Internet Movie Database, and the Arkansas TV station KAIT-TV. Kurt Cobain, famous rock musician was also included in the premature obituary list where CNN was the one who announced his death in 1994 because of overdose. Shortly after the wrong announcement of his death, his actual death followed.
